The Chinese men's gymnastics team put on an amazing show last night. Rather than coast through the final round of events to an easy gold medal, they turned in three outstanding performances on the high bar. They took the gold from the reigning Japanese championship team by a 7.25 margin in points, ending up with a team total of 286.125. ![]() Image Copyright: Xinhua Photo The Japanese took the Silver with a team score of 278.875, and our own American team brought home the Bronze on a spectacular pommel horse routine by Alexander Artemev. Congratulations to all our friends in the Chinese metals industry, and to all their countrymen and women on what is becoming an Olympics to inspire a new generation of athletes the world over.
